About Us

The Taurus Steakhouse has fed generations of Cardiffians over the last four decades.

The Restaurant is situated in St Mary Street in between the Millennium Stadium and The Cardiff International Arena. The Taurus is housed in a grade II listed mock Tudor style wooden and stone building. It can seat up to 185 customers at one time, but on event days it is advisable to book in advance. 

We are open usually until the early hours of the morning, and are licensed until 4am seven days a week.

Our menu is made up of a wide variety of beef, lamb and pork steaks but we also have fish and chicken and cater for vegetarians.

You can book using this website or contact us by phone (029) 2039 6200. We can accommodate bookings of up to sixty people plus, making it an ideal venue for hen and stag parties.

 We also cater for weddings,  childrens parties, bithday bashes and anything else you wish to celebrate!
